22 APRIL 2023

We were a bit thin on the ground on Wednesday but the singing was absolutely great and things bode very well indeed for this afternoon when some of us will be singing for the celebration of the life of Steven Ridout.  We put the finishing touches 500 Miles, Ukrainian Easter Carol, Our Choir and Shaftesbury’s Delights and although we lost our way towards the end of That Lonesome Road, that was, in part, due to reduced numbers when it came to splitting the voices.  We’ll get this right next time I’m sure.  This coming week we will consolidate That Lonesome Road and Bogoroditse and have a look at Go Placidly*, Circle of Life*, A little Bit of Love* and Say, Say Yes* along with Ooh la la lay and To walk along this shore as warm-ups.  Words for those marked * are attached, words for the others have been attached in recent weeks or are not needed.  Really hope to see you there.
