15 APRIL 2023

That last half hour on Wednesday proved more of a marathon than we expected so maybe we should have a bit of a re-think.  The extra time for socializing was great of course but we do need to make sure we are consolidating the songs we are learning too.  Karen and I will probably aim for a 9.15 finish this coming week to split the difference and see how that works.  PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CUPS / MUGS.  This coming week we will do 500 Miles, We Got All the Love and Follow the Heron in readiness for our performance next Saturday, and consolidate That Lonesome Road, Bogoroditse, Shaftesbury’s Delights and the Ukrainian Easter hymn.  Really hope to see you there.

COMING CHOIR EVENTS

Saturday 22 April Celebration of the life of Steven Ridout.  Charlton Hall.  We will be singing 500 Miles, Follow the Heron, We Got All the Love and (maybe) I’m Gonna Sing, Sing, Sing. Do make EVERY EFFORT to join us.  Ann writes: the plan is to get everyone seated with a glass for the toast by 2.30. Speeches shouldn't take too long and then choir sing.  Then food/beverages, cream tea and cake with tea/coffee all of which will be served buffet style.
