A particularly jolly session last week I thought. It was great to re-visit Bogoroditse after so long – special thanks to Halyna for help with the pronunciation. This coming week we will look at the next section, continue with Shaftesbury Delights, polish Don’t Worry Be Happy (do download the “order of events” for this song if you are confused as to what to sing and when to sing it!) make a start on 500 Miles which Ann Ridout has specially requested for her late husband’s celebration party on 22nd April and have a look at That Lonesome Road (held over for a couple of weeks now) along with Ceremony Boogie and Sithi Shwele / A Yele as warm-ups. Words of 500 Miles are attached along with the structure of Don’t Worry. The words of the others, where needed, have been attached over the last few weeks. Please print them out yourselves if you possibly can.
REFRESHMENT BREAK
We are considering re-introducing a longer refreshment break when the clocks change. This would give more time for socializing and enable us to have teas and coffees once more. For Covid precautions as well as for practical reasons you would need to bring your own mug. Choir would then run until 9.30 rather than 9.00 or thereabouts. Do give it some thought and if you have any strong views, let us know next week.
