17 JANUARY 2020

A good sing again last night.  Be warned, parking might be a bit tricky for the next two Wednesdays because of the Arts Centre pantomime.  It might be worth aiming to get here that bit earlier in order to bag a space in the carpark.  Our carol singing last month raised over eighty pounds and Julia has sent donations to our chosen good causes - Crisis and the Shaftesbury Tree Planting Group - as well as making a contribution to the Salvation Army’s street collection.   Julia, Karen and I loved our 10th birthday presents – thankyou very much - and I am attaching a copy of the very clever birthday card we received.   See if you can do it!  (Karen got full marks, I only managed 8/11.)  Next week we will be singing: Listen, Yenamanoa, Blue Moon, In my life, Chattanooga, Stille der Nacht, Gloucestershire Wassail, Ani Couni.   See you then.
