The Gillingham Food Bank has sent this letter:

Dear Friends

It is quite a while since I had cause to circulate you with a list of food items that we are really in need of.

We had a successful collection at Waitrose a couple of weeks ago but failed to build up our stocks of the following. Would you be so good as to publicise this in your notices so folk know what to target when giving.

Tinned fruit

Rice pudding

Sweet treats

Savoury treats

Packet (NOT tinned) soup

Sponge puddings

For the record we do still have enormous stocks of:-

Tinned soup

Baked beans

Tea

Rice

Pasta

Once again may I say thank you for your continuing support. If for any reason your contact has changed please let me know and I will amend my mailing list.

Kind regards

Robert Rickards
