13 MAY 2023

Another great turn out on Wednesday evening and some really beautiful ensemble singing too.   This coming week we will sing A Place Called England and That Lonesome Road once more (they sounded brilliant last time by the way), hopefully polish Bogoroditse (held over for several weeks now – we’re always running out of time), continue Tree of Life, sing one of our new warm-ups Simply There along with Walk in Beauty and have a look at Simama (new one – words not needed), Shaftesbury’s Delights and Blue Moon.  Words for these last two are attached, words for the others have been attached in recent weeks or are not needed.  Hope to see you there … and maybe with a contribution for the food bank!

FOLK GROUP

Shaftesbury Arts Centre has a lady who is going to start an arts centre folk group at the beginning of next month. It’s a free group, people who come just need to be arts centre members.  See attached flyer.
